Lessons For Beginners


Bellydancing (also known as “raqs sharqi”) is a fun and fulfilling form of self-expression that anyone can learn and enjoy.  


Ti Gi Bellydance provides beginner's bellydancing classes and tutorials to those who have never bellydanced before and want to  learn  in an encouraging and safe place. See below to see how you can get started.

Tutorials: How To Bellydance in 3 Simple Steps

  Start by following the #3simplestepsaturdays series on Instagram (see below), which includes bite-sized clips that break down one bellydancing move into three simple steps. Once you have a few mini-lessons under your belt, feel free to reach out to me for a class so we can dive deeper and turn you into the confident and graceful dancer I know you can be.


Private Classes and Corporate Workshops

Private classes and corporate workshops especially tailored for beginners are also available. Prices below exclude studio rental fees for in-person classes.

  • Private sessions (1 student):  $75/hour

  • Semi-private sessions (2 students): $40/hour each
